Thank you Miss Lydia! All I want is for the best for these babies and will take care of them to the best of my abilities. I know that sometimes owners go through a period or remorse, and that's why I give them an option of reclaiming their babies back...whether it be the next day, or several...

@Darbuck , I know that it was a heartwrenching experience to have to say goodbye to your babies, but please rest assured that Duckie and Dewie will be safe in my care. Whether it'd be temporary, until you get situated, or permanent, the option is yours to take.

Hello @Darbuck , I should be home for the majority of the day tomorrow, but then have to babysit my grandkids early evening. I really can't leave the house for very long since I have contractors putting in an extra room in the basement, but should be able to meet up somewhere within 15 or so...

I love seeing folks reuse, repurpose, and/or reinforce prefabbed coops to suit their particular needs. Am currently doing a project using 2 prefabbed coops, that I obtained inexpensively, and making them into things that will last much longer.

I know it's always difficult to say good bye to your babies, but please note, if you decide to want to have them back, I'd be more than happy to reunite them with you. Let me know when you'll be in the Cleveland area again. We live close to Hopkins Airport, so we can meet up anywhere.

The embarrassing thing about the whole incident is that I'm an NRA certified safety instructor and president of a 700 member rifle and pistol club. Guess I'll have proof of what not to do, while handling a weapon, when I go over safety procedures. Like you stated, live and learn from our...
