    finally putting irrigation lines in my front yard. just bought 2 honeysuckles, 1 trumpet vine, 2 privets, 1 creeping orange lantana, bay laurel and 2 hot peppers. already had bought orange common lantana, forsythia and goji berry. can't wait to plant them.

    finally some freshness. first night in the entire week I slept well. going to transplant tomatoes and peppers which are 100% stunted due to heat.

    the last one of those that had problem. I hatch almost every day - 2 bators, 180 and 300 eggs.

    I don't know where you got earwigs from but I know how to get rid of them. if you have chickens that are good foragers (araucana, ameraucana, ee, faverolle, marans, fayoumi. etc) put 2 hens for a couple of hours in your garden. they will take care of them.

    just hatched a turkey poult without problem. but had to help 3 indian runners. duck and geese eggs need more humidity.

    I did something similar but it didn't help. I still have 2 sponges and max humidity is 62-63. then it drops to 58-59. I spray through the holes all day long.

    praying. but a glass of freshly squeezed beetroot, apple and carrots (same amounts) first thing in the morning do miracles for blood.

    I prefer to feed them layers feed. I just add some cracked corn and wheat so that boys don't get too much calcium.

    108 f today. my 2 incubators cannot rise humidity with this heat and drought. I have some duck and geese eggs in lockdown :he

    judging by the colour. if true partridge boys have 2 colours at hatch and girls 3. I see 2 colours on your chick. girl would have dark brown (almost black) as well. I don't know if your chick is true partridge.

    I have a black dutch bantam beauty as well. hoping for a black roo to hatch. there are 3 black chicks but too young to tell.

    I fed a horse fly. definitely it's last meal, lol. then I fed a chicken with it.

    there are heritage marans inthe US. I don't remember the name of the breeder who imported them from france (little something is the name). @Bantambird aren't your marans heritage?
