This is the problem I've found here in Bristol. Some vets will see birds but from what little contact I've had with them, don't seem to know much about chickens.:confused:
Not so much for water deflection, having the wood raised a little from the concrete as your builders have done will help prevent the post bases from rotting. I was thinking more of something to hide that gap.
I did once I had found one corner that evaded me for ages and working out how to move multiple pieces.
A bit more colour would improve them in my opinion.

I would have moved the ramp so it attaches to the corner at the same height as the deck. She would have a straight walk along the deck and straight on to the ramp without having to make that sdways step downward which is what seems to be the problem.
