We both got out early. The Princess to work in the flower beds me to work a dog. Both came in early. At 2 we'll watch College World Series game. I'll go back out this evening. It's 90F with humidity already.
There's a market perhaps 10 miles away. Guy grows/sells his own corn. Perhaps by mid July he will have some. He generally stretches the season to November. Come October a lot of the corn seems to be more mature - that's when I buy and freeze some.

It's the best way, but it sure is nice to have some 'off the cob' frozen in the freezer for winter eating. Reminds me I am about out of it.
