    using pallets for flooring in coop

    After having several inches of rain my coop floor which is dirt ,is now mud. I had an idea of putting pallets down on the dirt/mud floor and covering with plywood,then pine bedding. Whats everyones thought on that.

    I had a front 4wd tractor axle shipped from a salvage dealer: - 40" by 48" pallet; - made from reject Tractor Supply chicken house wood (joke); - two pallets atop one another for Jack access, both broken. For coop construction 1"thick boards at least are preferred.
