    Ducks and Chicken Cohabitation?

    I have 7 chicken and 2 ducks and they live together and are happy. Under the roost I have a poop hammock so the chicken don't poop on the ducks while they are sleeping. Works great!!!! My roosters look after the ducks just as much as the hens.

    I bought 6 chickens on April Fools Day...then built a coop.

    Well Well done, and lovely coop :) I would add some rungs to the ramp for the chickens to make it a bit easier for them walking up and down. Beatiful coop, congrats. Enjoy :)

    feather pecked 8 week old hen :(

    Thank you very much. She currently has vitamins in her water. I'll try giving her yoghourt and scrambled egg (just seems wrong). Th My chicks eat organic chick starter. Thank you very much for the advice. Much appreciated.
