    Well, that was fun. My flock was wiped out the last few nights. I'm assuming fox. Every last one is gone. I should amend that. I sold thirty six Saturday. The rest were then taken by the fox. Maybe next year I can try again.

    Quail wasting a lot of food

    A hole in the side allows the quail to fit their head in to eat. It keeps feed from being wasted.

    Not yet! I have brudy hens now and then. I let them do their thing. Oh! Ok. I tried to read back more, but I was getting dizzy! I will try again tomorrow. This is an entertaining thread!

    I have fifty three chickens. All different kinds. RIR, BR, White Rocks, mutts, GLW, ... The mutts have mostly taken over. The original flock is six years old. Oh my! No!
