    I have a Pekin duck and a Cayuga drake. The Cayuga is feathering out beautifully. They both think they are either children or lap dogs ;) love my duckies and would recommend Cayugas they are great!

    It's been pouring here for days, and days to come. My chickens aren't too pleased with it but my ducks are having the time of their life lol. They got a new 6ft x 2ft pool today :) I'll have to take pics as soon as I can take my phone out there without it getting soaked lol

    It's perfectly normal, they look rough for a little while while they are getting their feathers. But once they are in they are soooo pretty :) Here is where she started to get rough, it looked worse than this for awhile. Here's after her feathers came in My Cayuga drake is going through it...

    You can eat all the eggs, u won't be able to tell a difference between fertilized and not as far as taste or the way it looks cooked to make babies they have to be incubated

    You have to give the app access to your photo gallery, you probably pushed no the first time it popped up. If you go to settings >privacy> photos and allow the byc app access there should be a slider

    Awww so cute!! My Pekin (definitely a duck) started quacking around 4-5 weeks. My Cayuga (I'm thinking drake) still isn't quacking, he still sounds like a baby but is getting a bit of a rasp sometimes.

    I buy minnows from the bait shop for them a dozen at a time... Takes them all of about 2 mins to eat them all in clear water... Have learned to put them in murkier water the ducks have already dirtied up a little bit... Makes my ducks have to hunt for them and slows them down a little

    They are 7 weeks now, they are my babies and I'm mama, I spend a lot of time with them, they both love on me and cuddle they come running when they see me or my husband, and quack/chirp loudly when they hear our voices in the morning to let them out to eat and swim. Favorite thing in the world...

    It's fine mine love playing with the chickens, I introduced them into the flock during the days for 2 weeks now they are out there full time. They rule the chicken coop now lol
