Help with Breed on this baby?
She looks a lot like my Embdens when they were young, I love the breed, they are sweet and very social, much nicer and quieter than my Toulouse geese! Even thoug they are plain white as adults they are just stunning, I Embdens are my favorite geese so far. -
Community Nest?
My geese free range and decided to make a nest outside my bedroom window. There is one that seems to stay on the nest 24/7 but the others will take turns sitiing on the nest with her. Has anyone ever had geese share a nest? I bet there is at least a dozen and a half, maybe more, eggs under them... -

My ducks and geese are food hogs, I have to feed them their daily rations versus use a auto feeder with them. I tried to see if they would get along with my chickens, but they downed almost all the food in no time... so the chicken get the coop with the autofeeder and the ducks and geese free...- RuralMama

Sick Duck?
Yes, we did look all over her chest both above and below the pouch but never found an injury. The pouch was going down and she seemed to be getting better. It was down about half way and the next day I went out to change out her water and she had passed. So far none of the other ducks are having... -
