Waiting for a wool wash to finish.
I swear by my Merino wool and lambswool clothing. Keeping them clean and something like their original shape is inconvenient though.
Now I think that's a good looking hen. She looks like what an efficient forager should in my view.
Unfortunately, Sylph has that same look and she's nothing like as good as Mow.
We didn't get taught much grammar at school. It wasn't until I learned some German that the importance of it became apparent.
My grammar is pretty dire because of how I was taught English.
I use the word one rather than you, because I've had a few people take you as personal rather than general...
No.. There are grades and different woods and adhesives used. The most obvious thing to the eye is it should have no voids in the compressed sheets of wood.
I found much the same when altering the Solway coop; plus those plastic swarf spirals are hot straight off the drill!
However, one can tap a thread into plastic. Very difficult to do with any construction grade wood. I cut a thread and used bolts for fixing the bits I have on the Solway coop...
There is a reason, a few in fact.
I want to be able to site the coop on the ground if required. This means the coop needs to be detachable from any base it sits on.
The next Nestera option for this coop going up the range does provide legs but the legs are not long enough. It costs £80.00 more...
I've been thinking again. Yeah I know it's dangerous.
I built the frame the large Solway coop sits on out of wood and OSB board.
The board is already suffering from the elements and rat chewing.
Marine ply would help and the coops I built in Catalonia with marine ply fared better in all...
I forgot to turn the lights off.
I have forgotten my name.
It's one of those depends things. I'm sure there's a grammar rule for it. Past and present tense but I can think of exceptions in current use.
My alerts aren't working properly since the last forum software update.:(
It's not that much of an issue because I check the threads I'm actively following but it would be nice to have them working.
Two and a half hours today. Dry and grey at 14C max.
Sylph was in the nest box when I arrived...
