Denvers birthday was today. Cant believe she is 4 already 🥲 . Made her some pumpkin and banana pupcakes with some frozen yogurt +banana. She got a new toy, technically 2 but Tucker always has to have one. They share most of the time. Then she got to go to the park and run around.
Did some training with Tucker. It was dark and there have been so many skunk spottings in town. I figured it was best to stick to a road i know with lots of street lights. I just had a slip leash with his regular collar and a traffic handle. He heeled when asked and not asked. He only barked at...
Teach her a hold with something fun. Denver wont pick up random items including her leash. So i attached a fun toy to it. And every once and awhile she will grab it without a toy. We are still working on this. But i had taught her to hold a bottle(toy to her item to me). Then eventually started...
I agree. We never puppy proofed. They were leashed. If we couldnt be there they were put on rest time(crate or x pen) never really used the x pen. Because they caught on very quickly to what they should do.
Aww im sorry.
Denver was having a issue a few weeks ago. The vet cleared her. Then i figured out it was from her food they changed the recipe and now she needs 1/2 more. Not off the packaging just off her calorie needs. They should tell people when they do that. ..
Denvers birthday is this weekend. So im hoping to take her to a store and let her pick out a toy. We havent really ever done that before. But it will be a good training for her. She knows how to behave just havent been to a store with her in a while.
Yes.... exactly. With Tucker being reactive he always barks when someone comes to our house. I tell him no. He stops barking And then he is learning to go to his kennel when someone comes. This way he always knows he has a safe option away from everyone.
When he is full on reacting he is going...
last night on our walk it was dark. Tucker heard some dogs barking at him he focused on me and i praised him. Then we walked by a guy. Now especially at night is when he is very weary of people. He kept a close eye on him but didnt react and once we were past a certain distance he re focused.
I...
The woof pupsicle is amazing. They do have a super chewer option. And the x large is huge compared to the large. The large lasts Tucker about 30 minutes. Yesterday i put a duck foot in it so it took him over a hour. Im not exactly sure hoe much food they hold. Ive also looked at freezebones they...
Another easy game if you could is just standing in a spot he wouldnt jump on you and throwing a piece of his food. He goes and finds it then you throw another. It would tire him out.
