I know Jacumba, we used to live out in Campo. Missy at Secret Hills is amazing! They do have the specialty birds but to me I don't mind paying a lil more. My first 3 birds I got from Bullseye Feed in Alpine, just basic hatchery quality birds but I love them too.

My CL was hatched last June and has yet to lay her first egg. All my other chickens lay, but my CL is making me wait for that blue egg.

Hi all, so I may have the record for the oldest non laying pullet yet. She was hatched the beginning of June and still no egg. She has looked ready for months, no squatting but I have another layer that doesn't either. I'm in So. Cal so we have had no winter.

Ya I have that talk with her every morning as I let her out I think she just wants out. She hears another rooster from some other property then seems to copy it. But both of them are becoming more vocal, more so than before. She isn't laying yet but I did notice her checking out the oyster...

Thank you! This is my first CL, first flock altogether, so I am still learning about all my breeds. She is one of my more vocal birds, she is starting to crow in the mornings. When I get home ill snap a picture of her. Thanks again

    Cream Legbars

I have noticed some Cream Legbars that are being posted don't have as big of a comb and waddles that mine does about the same age. Does the size of the comb differ within the same breed? I think I have an abnormal CL.

So that is how they are supposed to act, mine does that too but it seemed like she is going after my feet. This is my first time with Polish and chickens in general. She acts kind of like she isn't all there in the head, but is my only one that just chills when being held. Lately she has been...

What an awesome flock of Polish. I have one Polish and think she is the funniest thing ever. I could only imagine what fun a whole flock would be.

I do have loud chickens. Both my CL and her pen buddy, my Olive egger, are both very loud and are finding their voices, both about 18 weeks. 2 of my 3 older chickens, only by 2 months, are extremely loud too. Only my EE is quiet, never a loud bwak. As I type I am hearing my CL crow. She only...
