    I would say it does not look like a straight Barnevelder x Welsummer Cross because it looks like it has some columbia restrictors giving it the dark neck striping, what are the other breeds in the mix that are possibilities

    I start giving my layers oyster shell once they start to lay. If you use layer feed then switch them over when they start to lay. I never worm my chickens. If they seem healthy and lay well I don't see a need to worm them. Maybe your and others situations are different than mine. You...
