    I have 2 6 week old chicks but I’m not sure about the silver one. I believe it’s a rooster but not sure. It’s slightly larger and has a huge neck and longer legs than the buff. Any help would be great.

    Looking for good layers but not broody hens. I am in a subdivision so I cant have roosters. The color of egg laid does not matter to me. I have looked at some of the hatcheries but would like to buy locally if possible, not to sure I want to buy from the chick days around here.

    Thank you for the reply. Good thing I have them for their craziness and not the eggs. I took them from a friend who had to many and new from the start they would not lay well.

    Question. I have 2 Polish that stopped laying almost 3 weeks ago they did molt 2 weeks ago. They are only a year old so not old, should they start laying again soon? Eat fine, act fine and nothing wrong that I can see.

    Question?? I have 2 Polish and a few other chickens and about 3 weeks ago the Polish stopped laying they did molt but I know they haven't laid since. They eat fine and are acting normal, no change in the temp here so any help would be welcome.

    I've read to give them corn at night when it's cold to help them stay warmer because it takes longer to digest, so would I not want to feed frozen corn in the summer?
