    Mine roost outside too. I've locked them in for a month at times and they will still roost in the trees or on a coop roof. You often see them in the early mornings with their backs entirely snow covered.

    Try the state veterinarian's office. If they don't do it they will know who does. Feed store....somebody come in with something on shoes or hands? I'd be wondering. I've ordered from Ideal several times and I'm very happy with them.

    The new incubator is here already! Cutlers was amazingly fast! My husband has a compressor so I had him blow out the thermostat on the old one. It works again! Warmed right up. So now I have 2. Good tip Danny! Chick dust and feathers came out in a cloud.

    First hatch not quite a failure yet....

    Get a cheap walmart hygrometer. They work just fine. It will last the summer. Then don't touch the last days and into the hatching. I know it's not easy. I've done it myself. Don't help until that chick hasn't made any headway for a full 24 hours.
