    Unfortunately this has happened to me as well. Nothing you can do but try. Mine died in my hands. Just love it til it passes. I have had three do this over time.

    I also like the deep bedding method. I will rake out the center into the outside for their feet to not freeze. Yet keep adding pine and chopped straw. It will keep it dry and make more to add all winter keeping humidity down but feet comfortable.
