    Great coop and run! I wish i had the amount of land you do to make mine bigger. I used tree branches from a tree my brother removed in the run, and something about the size of a closet rod in the coop. They definitely like it better than a flat surface. Have fun with your chickens!

    Yeah I had some left over after doing my front yard. It is dead now because it is on top of gravel, but they love it.

    Great job! I bought most of my hardware from habitat for humanity, and got all of the wood and siding pieces from the construction dumpsters in my neighborhood. I love not spending money. Haha. I really like the tree root idea. I think I may take that idea from you.

    What time do chickens lay eggs??

    My 4 girls start laying around 10am and are done by noon. I put golf balls in their nesting boxes before they started laying, and it actually worked! They have always laid in the boxes. I get 4 eggs a day! Below are pics of the first egg. It was small , but they are all large now.

    Very unique and very cool. I like the wrap around stairs. Do they stay in that fenced part below the coop?
