    Aggressive bird are best put in the freezer. Turkey especially will continue to get worse. I recommend not mixing turkeys with other poultry because they can and will sometimes kill them. Geese as well can kill other poultry species.

    Jim husband says it depends on why you planted the oats. A cover crop is best cut down here in the fall and plowed so it can break down, planted for the birds or wildlife leave until spring.

    Jim not sure what husband will say. Most years he cuts down the deer plot before the snow flies. It makes it easier to plow the following spring if all that vegetation is down, and somewhat broken down. Otherwise it can get wrapped up in the plow blades. Pretty slow here. Not sure if I...

    She will never grow her feathers back if the roosters keep over mating her. I personally would remove them all so she gets a break from it all.

    Might just be starting to molt. Did you tug on them to see if they pull out easily? Some birds act off during a molt.

    She should grow back her feathers at some point. I've never seen a chicken not grow them back, but I suppose it could happen. How cold do you get?
