So I can get to the metal latch for the bird door. I put that inside because sub-freezing temps, snow, ice, and metal are COLD. I also have the bucket of pellets to take inside, so leaving it unlatched until that's done makes sense. I've also learned to NOT open the big door and head right in...
She rode my hand down far enough to be caught (I have the scratches from the thorns) and moved into the coop with her hatchmates. I'm going to do some tree trimming today so I can get in to her more easily in future.
If she's still mothering them, my advice is wait until she's done. If the others are starting to discipline, the time is coming. She may wean them off, or she may go cold turkey. Currently. Sounds as if she's the helicopter mom, "my precious baby would NEVER do something so heinous as steal! How...

The ones in...
Good for them. My crew use the woodpile for daylight storms. They like being able to watch, I think. Close to bedtime, they retreat to the coop, though.
Screen on dark mode doesn't have that issue. Black background, white/tan letters. Dont remember how I got that set up, though. Maybe @notabitail can help figure that out...?
Unless I'm missing something somewhere. This is what I see
