    Baby Chicks AND Ducks?!?

    No problem at all. You can raise them together but the Ducks will make a mess with their water. Do some reading on raising them together would be my suggestion. They can eat the same feed too. Ducks are fairly disease free which is solid and rarely suffer from any of the same problems as chickens.

    Omg!! I'm so sorry. I too adore my boys and would be heartbroken. When my hen had an infected ear I used raw honey, oregano oil, and garlic and made a poultice. I would just rub it on. It should keep infection away and help it heal quickly. I just look at the pics now cause no one ever comments...

    I have actually done that. I went to a feed store here in derry and there were like 100 day olds in a small livestock feeder with No beaks. Really ****** me off and I complained. We have since boycotted several local stores due to this. My Mother in law actually said we needed to debeak as well...

    12 week olds were 12$. I was in today and I didn't see any layers there. The 12 week olds looked nice. Usually, I see the older birds there and they look so sad and they have lopped off their beaks which makes me so mad.
