So I might be giving myself false hope but after watching this video on YouTube I feel like they are all females. The silky chickens at least. The black chickens I know two are male and one or female
Just kidding but not really, Ive never owned Batman before I mean Bantams before and i have no clue what i am looking at or what i am looking for to determine their sex. I can tell by now with other breads. Can you help?
i purchased 3 (red broilers) and 3 (bantans) but people on here said check back cause i cant trust the tractor supply store. the first 3 pictures, is that 2 roosters and 1 hen?
It's all good. It didn't matter what they had, I was impulse buying them anyway. I'll let you guys tell me what they are a few months from now ;)
So raise heat plate slowly, chick starter till 12 weeks, grower till 16 or 18 weeks, then later feed? At how many weeks do I slowly integrated them...
So I currently have a flock of 8 hens 2 years old. Dominique's, Rhode island red, and wyandottes.
Then out of boredom I purchased 6 straight run chicks today with no plan. How do I do this again? Lol. I probably can only keep up to 4 of the 6. I am assuming I will be getting some males and...

They eat layer feed from he local mill..I would say they get a large handful of leftovers from the family a day split between 9... I mean 8 now ;( ...chickens. I would say it's their snack. Low percentage.
I could be wrong but I am hoping it's the chicken that has weird calcium bumped eggs. The...
Last night they all got on their roost. Today I go down to collect eggs and a chicken layed there dead next to, but not in the nesting box.
No Intruders. She seemed fine yesterday. The rest of the birds seem fine today.

These predators are messing with the wrong chicken owner. Always one step ahead. I learned how to make and set snare traps the day after the 2nd Fox.
