I have 30 chicks total. They can be purchased individually or I will sell entire lot for $100.
I have tried several several different ones and have salt test 2. They were off by 5. That still put humidity at 30-40%. All eggs make it to lockdown. I rarely lose any before and air cells are on target. I have tried anywhere from 60-75% at lockdown with same results. The chicks lost this...
I have been having many problems with sticky chicks expiring. Eggs filled with Amber goo and I am running dry. Humidity runs anywhere from 20-40%. Climate is humid here. Still having problems.
Yes they do! We could watch them for hours! Thanks everyone! I took splint off last night to check and toes are straight. They are both doing wonderful!
I am at work now. I lost one overnight. It had way more goo than I could see. They are making noise. The inner membrane is pierced by me. Hopefully I did not harm them. Neither appears to be able to move.
Okay, so I have to get to bed have to get up at 3 AM. All 3 ducks are still alive. They are now all 3 peeping. Still can't find 3rd ones bill. I am still waiting for more of the veins to recede before I chip away anymore. I know for sure the 3rd one cannot move. It's legs are in a really...
Sorry missed you! We are on day 27, still air, temp 102, humidity 69. All 3 have a safe whole and the membrane has been pierced as of earlier today. I have been moistening the membrane ever few hours all day. I can see bills on 2. They are both moving good and one is peeping. The 3rd one is...
I am still home but have to leave in few minutes. All 3 have safe holes. I have moistened membranes with qtip and water. I see 2 bills but they have not broken inner membrane yet.
Help! Ok so I made a safe hole into the air cell and upped the humidity to around 70. I can see 2 bills but neither has pipped the internal membrane yet. Do I leave them alone for a few hours at this point? The 3rd looks like it may be malpositioned. I cannot find the beak and it appears to be...
