    In my experience (none with Wyandotte but with other chickens), they usually start laying around 11-15 weeks. So you are very close and to encourage them, put a golf ball in the nesting area. Good luck :)

    She thinks you are another Chicken :) ... Actually my chicks are not *** affectionate as your babies, but they do like to get on my feet, peck ... get on my hand, peck ... when i am moving/fixing something, like to pick on my fingers .. (not so rough but they shocks me at times)

    I have gotten eggs from the well known auction site but always hit or miss. Usually like to get bunch of them and expect only 30% to hatch (success rate is more or less for different people). However, the best case scenario is to find somebody local (craiglist) and expect 80-100% hatch rate...
