Do they stick up out of the leaves on the ground in wooded area's or do you have to move the leaves around, and once you see one will you know that it's a morel.
I found some last year, but am new to it, and not really sure how to look for them, and where to look. Everyone says elm trees, but I don't know what an elm tree looks like....I would love to find some of those.

Congrats Becca! They are adorable. I have watched for 3 days, and had to go to work. I made my DH check so he called me a work and gave me the good news. Also, he said he got teary eyed watching it.
I am afraid of the dark. I refuse to go outside by myself, or even walk in the house when the lights are off. I have to many phobia's...lol. Any flying bugs, wasp, bee's, spider's, snake's dead or alive. My main one though is the dark. I have no clue why either. I won't look in my review...

When ours cross breed, that come out a grayish color....I know nothing of genetics either, but that is what color ours come out, and their bills and feet are different colors orange/black mixed together.
Same here, use to be a big tomboy nothing bothered me, but as soon as I had kids that was all she wrote. I can be driving down the road and start thinking of something with my boys, and start crying. I cried like a baby when my oldest boy's moved out. I have two more to go.

I always use the green loom (36) for all my hats, it works for all hair types. I also use lion brand yarn the homespun for the girl's hat, and just worsted weight yarn for the boy's hats. I love the knifty knitter.
