    Need baby quail help ASAP!

    I wouldnt put feeder or water under the heat. Away from there. They will tell u if they arent warm enough by huddling under the light if they arent warm enough. If they are by outer edges of light then they are good. If they are far away from light most of time then its too hot.

    Choosing Breeds!

    To be honest i pick breeds that are cold hardy and lay good. My chickens arent my pets. They are doing a job for me. Laying eggs and helping eat ticks in summer.

    Most of the prefab coops are junk. Craigslist is the best way to find a coop or u can build one yourself.

    Welcome. One thing to remember is most of the prefab coops are junk. Not meant to last long. The wood used is skimpy.
