Where did you get the freedom rangers? I thought they were out of buisness.

I have my water and feed side by side and there are no problems with it.....I allowed enough space inbetween the two so they can walk in between them but I don't think it is necessary.

I have two Welsummer hens and a Welsummer rooster in my flock. NIce birds. I like the dark eggs. I'm seriously considering ordering some marans this year for the even darker colored egg.....so pretty.

It doesn't take much of a barrier to keep them out. We just use the two foot tall chicken wire and some fiberglass push in fence rods. easy to go up, easy to come down if ya need to get the tiller in or something.
