    The top one looks like my pullet ~ smaller comb (like almost none) and wattles. the bottom one does not. Looks to be developing a larger comb and wattles. He'll probably develop more feathering too.

    They look like Rouens, or a mixed breed. Try grabbing the tail feathers lightly and you should get a honk or a raspy sound. Honky loud quack = female

    Mine are pretty hardy. I haven't needed to do anything special. And mine are excellent layers. They lay 7 days/week and have been since mid winter. Right now they are out-laying my chickens.

    Has anyone ever used Revolution on their chickens? It controls internal and external parasites on dogs and cats. I know someone who treats her hedghog with it as well ... ??? Certainly would be convenient.
