Im not sure yet, You can have them walk outside of the coop and maybe let them play in the coop but bring them in at night till is gets warmer and they grow a little bit :)
Oh my goodness, I have had 5 Buff Orpingtons, they are so sweet and good Chickens They all definitely are Buffs, I had one really dark and light, they look great! :)
Make sure when you pit them in the coop to start in the top for a couple of weeks and ease them into it so they come upstairs at night, if not, you could have a raccoon attack like I did :(.
I hope this helps :)
I had the same problem with my Ameracauna, we gave her some yogurt and probiotics, and they felt better, plus it is good to isolate them from the others because they might be pecking at each other, I hope this helps!
I don't know a lot on bumblefoot but I do know that vent fleet could be need for protein, so I consider giving her meat and a lot of yogurt to help the stool and clean the infected vent with a small amount of water and let soak, make sure that she is getting enough water too
it might have been an animal or a fall that maybe fractured her leg to become limping, or it might have been hit and caused different brain function
I hope she feels better
Today is the day that we have to give away our pet chickens, I love them very much but it is best for them, that means that I have nothing for BC, this is not goodbye forever, just now
Thank you for everything and my chickens thank you too
it is really amazing that we are able to raise...
Hi, I have 3 Buff Orpingtons and 1 Plymouth Rock. They were born in October of last year. They molted in October, but still no eggs. They look fine and are very happy with bright combs. I don't think their egg-bound so I need help.
Thanks, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah
