    first one Hatched this evening on day 18! This is exciting 14 more to go 3 have pipped. I was going down to put them in lockdown at 7:30 and he or she was out. I quickly pulled the egg turner and put them into lockdown. Didn’t know what else to do. So far chick is good other working out!

    These 2 look different that the rest of my eggs. This is my first hatch all the rest have obvious chicks in them. Should I toss them? I’ve had to cull several other that didn’t develop I just don’t want to do it if they are ok .

    Had the girls out and snapped a quick pic. They have the most personality of all my birds. I have 6 of their eggs in the incubator now. Hopefully about 18 days I’ll have some babies.

    Bantams Orphingtons have kind of became my thing. I have a solid flock of good egglayers that keep us overflowing in eggs. I really enjoy raising the bantam Orphs.
