Lmao never thought when I left Jersey and moved to good old Utah that I'd be sniffing a chickens foot. But hey I guess it should have came at no surprise
Well one of the roosters is picking at her so I've separated it but the missing feathers comes from something else, she's missing feathers under her wings on her back plate and all on her belly,. Her feet and legs are green instead of orange and she hobbles and limps around like something is...
Hey all,. Quick question,. One of my broiler chicks is half the size of her siblings missing a lot of feathers her feel and legs are greenish in color and it wobbles and limps around. Any thoughts on what's going on
OK thank you. How about the rest of the flock. Will they harm the duckling. I have a bunch of 3 week old chickens and ducks that I bought and from what I'm reading I can't introduce them to the flock until they are like 4 months old or the flock may harm them. Does that mean the flock will...
OK friends. My Muscovie has been sitting on her eggs... One duckling has hatched. It's the cutest thing in the world. Now for the question, it's supposed to get into the teens this week at night, should I leave the duckling with momma or should I take the duckling and bring it inside. Do u...
Thank u. I'm also going to get an automatic Turner before I try again and fine tone my heat source. It was so much work this time around because I always had a heat lamp bulb with to many watts so had to constantly monitor the temp and at night, the house was always to cold for the heat lamp...

Me too but I doubt it, still not even internal pip. I'm guessing the overall temp has been low for it to be this far past due. And the weird thing is all day today I can't keep temp to 99/100 all day no matter what I do it's sitting at 97/95 degrees
It hasn't pipped internally and there are still veins. I was reading some threads where some took 41 or more days to hatch. I'm just going to leave it alone and hope for the best
Update:. I have the humidity up we are on day 37. Still no changes with egg or duckling internally. Still see it moving so it's alive,. But I have a feeling humidity was to low and it's stuck to membrane on one side of the egg for the last 5 days, while turning it,. It's been on the same side...
