    Wow, looks great! The only thing I might want to consider is finding some way of rigging up a removable roost on one side to the chicks can have some fun. :)

    Common feather-footed bantams include Brahmas, Cochins, Silkies(which yours definitively are not!!), and d'Uccles.

    I came home today, and it turns out that my girls have been laying for the past two weeks or so. I have two hens, and with today's egg, I've got 12 total right now. I feel guilty for not checking earlier.... (during the winter, their food and water gets moved outside for convenience.) So...

    Some reasons: -if you have an emergency and can't get out in the morning, your chickens will be hungry and thirsty. It's only a day and they won't starve, but it's still something that we should try to avoid. -chickens are messy eaters! All the dust/ scraps left on the ground can attract...
