    Should I go with shavings or poop boards? I was thinking about making a removable tray with a wire top so it could collect without them walking through it, has anybody perfected this?

    Made them removable to make it easier to get into the coop to clean without bumping your head. Still bumped my head on them anyway already.

    Hung a few roosts inside the run. I don't know how much they will use these but I had the wood. I wonder if they will roost outside in the run rather than inside the coop if they have the choice?

    Egg box door mounted. (Shown closed) Also got one of the storage doors mounted, but ran out of hardware to do the other one. Looks like Home Depot trip 7 is in order.

    I finished the partitions between the egg boxes and put a couple boards on the inside of the wall to bring the head height down and make it a little more cozy.

    I have heard the chicks enjoy making nests over these types of rugs, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I still need to create partitions between each box. I am getting excited, the birds should be moving in tomorrow.
