This is my young rooster, he has a very pronounced "middle part". I literally laugh hysterically everytime I see my him. 🤭😂
It's the most ridiculous looking thing I've ever seen. 😂
Here's some characters that he's been compared to. 🫣
I can't tell which side it starts at all. I'm nervous to try and move it.
I also am concerned it could be intestines. In which case I'd not want to cut it.
Thoughts?
Hello,
I have a newly hatched d'uccle chick that has its umbilical wrapped all the way around its foot. I'm not sure what to do in fear of breaking it since there is yolk left. Any advice?
Update:
Unfortunately the little egg didn't make it. It ended up dying the next day.
On the bright side. I had 6 ducklings out of seven that hatched besides that one that didn't make it. :pop
Yes I was concerned about the blood too. No visible air bubbles or blood moving around in the egg. It is on day 19. My indies usually take anywhere from 26-28 days.
In all my years of hatching this has never happened to me. :hit
I accidentally dropped the incubator lid and it hit one of my eggs. Set may 10. This egg came from my black east indie hen that was killed by a mink. I feel absolutely terrible. Is there anything I can do for it? It's still...
