    I would isolate the one hen just in case and double check the others for any illness. I was gonna say sounded like egg bound but that's not the case if she laid an egg.

    Th here is no discharge, she is the only one.... but. It isn't a constant gasp and she is able to eat and drink. I had one with gapeworm and she couldn't eat. I had to put her down

    Yes it has a gargle to it. Unsure on smell haven't really tried to smell her breath. I looked down her throat the first time and didn't see anything unusual.
