So far great! I think I messed up. Had gotten a new rooster, little calico frizzled bantam guy, about 2 weeks ago, he's about 2 months old... but didn't have any issues or concerns, know should wait about 2 weeks to add, but don't think he's quite ready to go outside.... so added chicks to...
They're eating chick starter, and started Corid in water last night, belly feels find and nothing on navel area, I just can't believe how much she's put out with no signs of issues at all
Thank you! So far today haven't seen anymore blood, but this morning was quite a bit on pad... I've never seen or heard of anything like that and I honestly am kinda surprised chick is alive and thriving... will keep watching, was just scared would infect the other 3 chicks from batch but so far...
I have chick that hatched little over 24 hours ago with almost purely liquid bloody stool... can a new chick have coccidiosis? Should I go ahead and start Corid that young?
Thank you so much for any help!!! Here's a pic of poop.
Idk what's going on with this guy but just started doing this... any clue of what's wrong or what I can do???? I have a video but idk how to upload it. He' squawking, body shaking and turning his head all around.
I have beautiful little Bantam Cochrin female looking for a mate. Could travel pretty much anywhere in VA to meet. Located in central VA area around Bedford. TIA!!!
Thank you once I Googled it it says around day 16 or 17 air sac tilts and they get in position and I think that's what I was seeing so I'm going to go ahead and put them on lockdown, did look like one had made a small hole that could only see when I candled it
Ok, so pretty sure at day 17 this evening, when candled for last time it looks like one has tried to make a pip.... So I'm now freaking out.... humidity has only been around 40-45 percent last day or 2, should I go ahead and add to get to 65% and leave it alone until for sure see something...
