    Thanks! I'm making a trip to Walmart this evening for fly traps. I've been using the sticky tape ones and I think because the flies are hanging out so low to the ground that they are just pointless. I need something that will attract them.

    So do you have an actual recommendation? The run is on rocks so every day I spray off the rocks to keep the poo under control. I mix the coop bedding every day and clean off the roosting bars. I pick up uneaten bits of food.

    Sorry for any confusion. The flies and rain have nothing to do with each other. The flies have been a severe issue for weeks, the crazy rain storm was yesterday. We're actually in a bit of a drought.
