    Is hs chest like this in the mornings when you let him out for the day? Do they have access to food over night? if so take it up over night so you can see how he is in the mornings after not eating.

    Have you checked under his feathers for a wound? He looks bright eyed so I really don't think an abscess but sure wouldn't hurt to look under all this feathers at his skin. Is a vet an option?

    I don't think I've ever seen the size of his chest area in Runner drake . If you hadn't said he was eating good I'd think a crop issues. The black duck standing next to him has a rather large chest area too. I'm at a loss. Go to Emergency forum and post this there.
