    Just us and the cats on a 36 foot sailboat. I've tried to convince him to build a raft so we can tow the chicken coop behind us, but so far it's a no-go. Lots of people do it - no reason why it has to be an elusive dream for you.

    Horses are cheap, but their care is expensive. Why don't you spend some time pricing feed, medical care and the cost of boarding. Just because your grandmother has space doesn't mean you should assume you can use it for free.

    Immunity is determined...chemically, for lack of a better word. During embryogenesis the proteins of the body are presented to the lymphocytes and the cells "learn" which proteins are "self" and don't attack them.
