Would it be worth my time and money to fight this? I have put so much time and effort into my flock and now they are all just going to be gone... would it be worth it to go downtown and make a case stating exactly what you said? That poultry are not livestock?
The paper they gave me says this...
So, because i selfishly kept my flock trying to hide from this new law, i finally got caught.... i have 30 days to get rid of my "farm animals" or they take legal action....
Luckily my husband and i have enough friends and family to take in some flock that we should be ok.
Anyone interested in...

These are the 2 babies my young barred rock hatched out. My husband and i were very surprised she was broody so soon. They werent her eggs, but she is a really good mom and not as mean as any of my other ones. Very proud of her. I only gave her 4 eggs and these 2 hatched 4 days before they were...
When i first got her she had no feathers. She was bald because she had been picked on where she came from, and i took her in and she has grown her feathers back and shes beautiful now.
Thanks. I try go out there and mist her every few hours, she doesnt seem to get up often enough (like the last broody) to stay hydrate, so im trying to help as much as possible without making her uncomfortable. Its just wayyyy too hot...
My new broody hen.
Its so hot out here (105-110) that im surprised i have another broody hen, and even more surprised the hens are still laying eggs in this heat.
Im in kingman and i have 5 week old barred rock that my broody hatched. Have a barred rock hen laying on some more too. If you are willing to make the drive they are beautiful. I can take newer pictures if you would like.
