This has been going on in this pen and another pen for quite some time we thought it was natural deaths then some pecking from other birds we got down to two birds both where killed then it moved about 50 feet to another pen and almost whipped it out, but we put one bird back in the original pen... -

how big of a pen do i need
For Gamble quail, planning on doing breeding pairs i keep reading they need a larger space but i also read where people colony breed bobwhites in 24" x 30" pens i have 30"x 30" pens i keep trios of countrinx quail in and 26"x 24" i keep bobwhite pairs in so either i have a way larger space than... -
Brooding question
Only two out of the 15 that hatched looked like this true rest are doing great and he is eatting and drinking so maybe he will come out of it this is just the weirdest legs I have ever seen -

Brooding question
Thanks one more question kinda off base for this topic but maybe I will get some replies, I have a Mexican bobwhite whose legs point out in front of him, I have seen chicks legs be backwards spradled and all that but this is a first and so far the only one out of about 6 that have hatched, so... -

Building an incubator
I want to automatically control humidity in the new incubator that i am building and i wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on how i would do this, Just a little background on this bator it is 5' by 4' by 4' it is being controlled by a PLC (it was free is the only reason i am using it) but...- kman
