So lucky is now almost 11 weeks and has settled nicely in with my friends chickens. We still don’t really know if lucky is a Roo or a hen. Any thoughts?. Did make some crowing sort of sounds at 6 weeks but not sure
Well. Long story short. Not really sure as hatches from a hedge veg stall! But the lady I may have bought the eggs from believes a bluebell mum and silkie dad
Good news as the owner of the eggs is happy to adopt if a hen and we can visit. Just don’t have the room here/ gonna be so hard to see lucky go in a few weeks but for the best
There is some pink on wattles but it’s mum looks like a rooster to me lol. I’m a complete novice . Hatched from an hedge veg stall. It’s been amazing. Borrowed a friend until lucky is adopted
