    The breed you have has many names like: Brown Shaver, Red Shaver, Red star, Bovan Brown, ISA Brown and a few more I cannot think of.

    That is a Red Sex link Hen I believe. With Sex Links, you can sex them from day old because the boys end up white and the girls are brown. I have chicks very similar called Hylines, but they are genetically modified I think to lay more eggs.

    The chick I have decided to name midnight, is very fast! and can fly very high. Hopefully she grows up fast and will get along with the others.
