I am in n.e. ark, around jonesboro I get layer pellets and cracked corn at the co-op 300lbs of pellet and 100lbs of cracked corn cost me 61.34 per month.
I was thinking of adding All Flock to my hens layer pellets. Any pro/con a more experienced poultry keeper will be appreciated.I just quit giving my girls fermented feed because they started dropping like flies around the fourth week after starting on it.
This is my New Hampshire broody, I got her and 10 others at t.s.c. the last week of February. They started laying the 3rd week of July and she started sitting the 2nd week of August and hatched 6 of 9 duck eggs. Now she is on the nest again just 8wks after hatching them.
I collect green rice out of the field every year at harvest, along with whole corn, soy beans, milo, sesame seeds, and wheat. This all gets mixed together and fermented. This saves me from buying ANY grains all year. I only have to buy layer pellets.
