Well, over the past week I've taken each of the three hens that I didn't know which egg color they were laying and seperated them out into their own individual cages. Yeah, that's what I was kind of afraid of, lol :D All my marans are correct with the "sparse" leg feathering but I kind of figured that over the clean legged easter eggers that it might not be a reliable marker, lol! Sure would have saved some time though with letting the hens systems clear...- MuffsnFluff

Well, the only way I can figure to change the ratio is the theory people have of using the apple cider vinegar to change the PH of the chicken's system which would supposedly have them lay pullet eggs instead of cockerel eggs, but I have to do some more experimenting to see if it actually holds...- MuffsnFluff

I'm by no means an expert, just some things I've been noticing and thinking, lol :D I'm not 100% sure on the sexlink stuff, but I think from what I've been reading you have to use barred hens with an unbarred, not blue or white rooster, since dominate...- MuffsnFluff

I didn't know you could do that with the Braggs and unpasturized juice! So, details Do you keep the mixture in your fridge? I have a feeling I'm gonna be spending a lot less on ACV for my flock (hubby will be thrilled, lol )- MuffsnFluff

Wow, we're back, lol! Boy was it quiet yesterday :D Was so frustrated the other day, went down the mornign after bringing the new babies home and three were dead I know the guy I bought 'em from had them all for over a week so it wasn't any issues from him, and too soon to catch anything wierd...- MuffsnFluff
