Need help reading a bottle of Ronidazole

Hey thank you so much! I've heard about this treatment but i didnt know where to get the powder. I'll order it as soon as I can! :thumbsup This is probably a late reply, but when it comes to medications, how long will it take for it to take its full effect? I've noticed there hasn't been much...

Need help reading a bottle of Ronidazole

I'm treating for canker, they most likely have unfortunately. If i were to treat it in the water, how long do i have to wait until i can eat their eggs again? 1-2 weeks?

Need help reading a bottle of Ronidazole

I'm thinking about it but it's only two hens that have shown signs of flare ups. I'm not sure if others could be carriers as well, but I wanted to give the two a certain dose. I emailed the place I ordered it from, I'll keep this thread updated!

Need help reading a bottle of Ronidazole

Hey there guys! I recently ordered some Ronidazole for 2 hens. https://allbirdproducts.com/products/ronidazole?_pos=2&_sid=7ce11d0ff&_ss=r This is the medication, its 25 grams, and it says 60mg of Ronidazole, does this mean for every gram there's 60mg of medication? How does this work?

Thyme, Hydrogen Peroxide or Metronidazole for small canker infection?

Super duper late update, but yes this medication worked! Last thing I would add is that it's a lot easier to measure out your meds, then put them in a chicken treat (I'd use a river smelt). Way easier than using a syringe.

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

Hey guys! I know it's been awhile but if any of you guys are still watching this, the hen turned out completely fine! Not sure if she had eaten something bad or got dust up her nose but she went back to her regular behaviors after a few days! - 4/11/19

Testing My Dogs with the Flock

We have a poodle mix, he's not much taller than the chickens! He kinda just avoids getting too close because he's been attacked by a broody hen and roosters before. However, whenever we have babies we let him see them and let them down around him. He's never tried to attack them, just likes to...

I think it might be helping because she isn't purple anymore, but yea hopefully something just got stuck up her nose

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

MMmm right now, no but she does seem to be breathing a little harder than usual because I noticed that the skin that leads to her nostrils goes up and down.

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

    1. We did add this rooster, but she was already sick before he came around. 2. I thought she was molting because she lost her tail feathers but it seems to have stopped i guess. 3. 4. She doesn't wheeze or cough, just sneezes every now and then

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

My dad's actually been giving her some antibiotics, but I'm not sure what kind I'll have to ask

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

That's a good idea, I usually just put the feed on the ground but there is this one hen who tends to spend more time chasing everyone than actually eating haha

Naked Neck Hen sneezing, seems a little hot, quivers every now and then

Hey fellow chicken keepers! I have a hen (around 1 year old going on 2 yrs) who's been sneezing a lot lately. I know that every now and then my chickens will sneeze from eating or drinking too fast, but she's exhibiting the typical symptoms of a sick bird: fluffed up, somewhat loss of appetite...

(UPDATE) Chicken won't eat, poop isn't solid

Hey guys! Another update on Grapes, I think she's going to be fine. Her poop is looking more normal and she's socializing with the others. As I type this she's taking a dirt bath! Anyways thanks to everyone who gave me advice! I really appreciate it because without some of yalls she might not...

(UPDATE) Chicken won't eat, poop isn't solid

Yea actually she seems less lethargic but she doesn't eat much unless she's with the others. On the plus side she is passing solid poos and she will eat most of what i give her. When she eats her crop gets golf ball + sized so that's good. Today she even went after a roach that was crawling about!

(UPDATE) Chicken won't eat, poop isn't solid

Heyo update on Grapes! She'll eat a little when she's with the others but she'll eat a lot more when we isolate her. Her recent poops have been looking like the one I posted above where its white with dark green solids. So I think she's slightly getting better.
