Howdy,
I’m looking at a piece of land zoned RR-45 in zip code 85308. I can’t seem to find the meaning of RR-45 on any online document. Does anyone know if I’ll be able to raise laying hens? Can you provide a source document?
Thanks!
Ours have eaten lizards but are very leery of frogs. They avoid them and even sound the alarm when they see one. The ones I've seen are at least 4-5" in diameter.
We have 30 layers but ended up with 2 Roos in the bunch. The dominant male is kind & actually protects us from the little agressive guy who will charge without warning.
That might be it…need to increase the frequency of collection.
When we float test the eggs, some of them have a tiny stream of bubbles coming from them. Is that ok or not?
I live in central AZ and have a few dozen layers. Highs have been in the mid 80s to 90s with lows in the 60s to 70s. Recently we have had a few rotten eggs and can't figure out why. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Four feet high, two feet wide, two feet deep with 4 boxes. While the top ones are most popular, the one at the bottom (on the ground) gets it fair share as well.
dawg53, thank you for your reply. As far as eggs are concerned, I would think that it would be best to discard any eggs that I collect until I am certain that the issue has been resolved. What say you (all)?
1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)-Hybrid (RIR) & EE. 2 & 3yrs old respectively.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.-DEAD, no external wounds.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?-seems to be sudden, no prior...
