Yes, I have candled them. I have been letting them stay in full term just in case I was wrong. I have not had one try and develope for 3 months. I have incubated several call eggs before and never had this problem.
I do have a male in with them. However, I have been trying to incubate the eggs and have not had a fertilized one yet. I know he is mating them. Just no luck. I am going crazy.

Thank you for sharing your story. I love to hear about your ducks. I think they are great!! I do like your new picture of them also. I have raise my 3 call ducks one at a time. And you are right, it is the best way to keep them friendly.

Call ducks are very hard to incubate. They need to be on their side and turned by hand. The humidity is very important to be around 55%. It is different for chickens, so I don't know if that will work. You can put some fake eggs in place of the real ones to see if your female does go...
If she is not in pain I would keep working with her. It sounds like you really like her. It might be to heart breaking to eat. Some times with age these things work them self out. But that is just my opinion.
