Welcome to BYC. Be careful for the dogs. I've had some dogs that were a little too curious and thought/ think that chickens are toys. The dogs that I trust are the ones that ignore them completely. Yes, it is, but I hate that 45 minute drive. Its very boring and mostly flat land between here and there. I'm not sure I could call this a town. It is more of a community. Texas has many small communities that never grow much so I'm not worried about it gaining town status in my lifetime.
