I have a 3 mo.old hen gold lace wyndott.she keeps opening and closing her beak and stretching her neck,she sounds wheezy and she is still eating and drinking I've isolated her but she sits on the ground and closes her eyes.when she stretches her neck she closes her eyes also.pls help she is my baby

I have new waters the buckets hang and have the water spouts on the bottom.today is the first day.I took the old water trough out.but they haven't discovered the new one yet.will they be ok without water til they figure out the new ones?
I put them inside a hen house at night with a door because if the storms latley at night and im noticing its not big enough for food and water receptacles.
You should be fine i did the same thing mine stayed at 108 for over 4 hours.and i had 50 eggs and got 40 hatched....get a digital humidity and tempt thermostate at Wal-Mart there great and so much easier to see.my air flow electric incubator with turner is to tiny for me to read.HAPPY HATCHING
Get a forced air incubator with two vents .and egg turner mine holds 52 quail and 20 chicken eggs.i have had 95% hatch rate and i only pd 45.00 for it.when hatching quail before you get to lock down date make sure you put down the rubber shelfing mats so their feet dosent go through screen.they...
If to much humidity your chicks could drown.not enough they will stick in the egg.you will have to watch your ventilation holes and see what the humidity .then cover or uncover to correct it
It should be 99.9 to 100 for chickens...and humidity is def.important 45-50 during incubation during hatch 60-65
I had a successful hatch of 19 chickens out of 20 eggs...and a quail hatch 20 eggs 22 hatched. Good luck to you
On day 14 i put shelving rubber mat in my incubator.quail cant fall through but everything else does less mess.then i go in lock down humidity running 55.when hatching starts i bump my humidity up to 60 -70.put a sponge in incubator if you have vents line the sponge up with vents i use a childs...
