    Is this "BCM" supposed to have this kind of coloring on its back? I talked to the guy I got them from and he told me his wife mixed some olive eggers in the pen by accident and he'd let me keep them and give me a Marans of my choice.

    All of them? He has olive eggers??? But they're in a completely separate pen. I've seen the pullets momma and daddy. What makes em look like they are mixed? I really would like to start my own hatchery/egg selling but I don't want to sell someone something they're not if you're saying they're mixed.

    Ok... It's hard getting good pics because they're very skiddish right now. I just got them from a breeder about a week or so ago so that may be because they're adjusting??? Is there anyway to make them less skiddish? I go out in the pen everyday and try to feed them treats from my hand but...

    Well that's good... I had a RIR Rooster that I rescued and he got a lil aggressive with me so he got sent to freezer camp. I have a 3 and 6 year old daughters so I can't have an aggressive rooster because they're my big time helpers and love to play and hold the chickens, so that might work out...

    Ahh ok... I have a Blue Maran Cockerel thats about 10 weeks old he thinks he's king till he messes with the EE's then they put him in his place for now.
